On Wednesday 20 March Newham will be recognising the Age without Limits Action Day.

We will be hosting a few pop up stalls across the borough on this day in partnership with our residents Groups, colleagues from Health and Social Care and local Voluntary and Community Faith organisations, where we will be asking residents to: 

• share information from the Age Without Limits activity pack about how to See and Be Seen
• complete an online questionnaire about positive ageing in the borough using Wi-Fi enabled tablets
• watch a short video to trigger discussions on positive ageing well
• ask residents to post on display boards what they wish to change from the way they think about ageing or share a story of their own experiences to challenge stereotypes etc.
• we will also be providing information, advice and support on a range of other subjects for e.g. money advice, Vitamin D, carers support information, employment support, sign posting to other support services and many others.
