Tonic Housing Association: artwork exhibition

Tonic has partnered with the Saatchi Gallery to hold a special exhibition of artwork designed by the residents of Tonic and their friends.

Tonic has opened the UK’s first community-led LGBT+ Retirement Community and the exhibition on Age Without Limits Day 2025 will show that LGBT+ people do not need to be invisible as they age but instead we can challenge ageism and celebrate their later lives.

Age UK Lewisham and Southwark: film screening

Please join Lewisham’s first Age without Limits Event.

We will be screening a film featuring people from Lewisham who have reinvented themselves in later life.

This will be followed by a Q&A with the stars of the film. The day will conclude with food, music and networking with a series of stalls at your disposal as resources to get you started on your journey of reinvention.

Elizabeth House: Highbury Vale Blackstock Trust - Stories behind songs

A special Age Without Limits Day event where members of our Over 50’s Blue House Club share the stories behind songs that hold personal meaning.

Social documentary photographer Sylvie Belbouab will capture these stories through audio recordings and photography.

After lunch, participants can perform or listen to their chosen songs, celebrating ageing and challenging ageism through music, storytelling, and community connection.

Age UK Waltham Forest: poetry celebration

Key Activities:

  1. Poetry Competition – Open to all, encouraging submissions on the theme Age Without Limits – Celebrate Ageing, Challenge Ageism. The winning poem will be framed and displayed at the Age UK Waltham Forest centre. 
  2. Live Readings & Open Mic– Participants will share their poems at our main Hub at open day afternoon. 
  3. Booklet Publication – A collection of submitted poems will be printed and shared to leave a lasting impact.
  4. Accessibility Focus – We will offer online participation for those unable to attend.
