Ewhurst & Staplecross Village Hall: Breaking Down Age Barriers
11/06/25
Staplecross, Robertsbridge, TN32 5QG
We plan to run an Age Without Limits Day involving children from the local primary school and older residents of the village.
This has never been run before and the aim is to have fun as well as promote inter-generational conversations. The aim is to challenge negative stereotypes of older people. The activity will comprise of 2 components.
Firstly, that of a ‘gallery’ of photographs of those older residents of the village depicting them as children/teenagers. The children attending the activity will then have to ‘match’ the person with their photograph. The second component is that of inter-generational balloon modelling workshop.
This workshop would introduce a skill that transcends all generations and brings different generations together to have fun and learn a new skill together.
